This Privacy Policy describes how Skin Zen ("we," "our," or "the app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Skin Zen mobile application.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

Skin Zen collects the following information:

• Photos you take in the app: Selfies you capture using the Skin Zen camera feature for the purpose of skin analysis
• AI Coach messages: Text messages you send to the AI Coach feature
• App usage data: Local records of your skin scores, analysis history, and app preferences (stored on your device only)

Skin Zen does NOT collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or other personal identifiers
• Your location
• Your device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Contacts, photos library, or any data from outside the app
• Health data from Apple Health or other health platforms

HOW WE COLLECT DATA

• Photos are collected only when you actively take a photo using the in-app camera
• AI Coach messages are collected only when you type and send a message
• App usage data is generated automatically as you use the app and stored locally on your device

HOW WE USE DATA

• Photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate skin analysis (sub-scores for redness, breakouts, texture, evenness, plus a written summary)
